I am a Business graduate from The University of Strathclyde, currently working within professional services. However, I have always been interested in teaching as a career path, and hope to one day complete my postgraduate degree in teaching. My most preferred subjects to tutor would be Mathematics, English, and Business Mamagement - I received an A at higher level for each of these subjects.

Tutoring Experience

While at university, I successfully tutored students in Higher Maths as part of a community outreach module of my degree.

Tutoring Approach

I prefer to take a holistic approach to tutoring, ensuring students understand the meaning and intent behind questions, as well as how to answer them. I find that having a better understanding of why and how to answer questions, leads to a greater understanding of the subject matter and easier knowledge retention. I also find that subjects become more enjoyable once they become less complex and confusing.
