David

I am a Doctor of Philosophy student in Physics at the University of Oxford. My research focuses on studying the surfaces of planetary bodies in the solar system, using various instruments and techniques to gather data and insights about their composition, formation, and evolution. I hold a First Class Masters degree in Physics and Space Science and Engineering from University College London.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have years of experience working with students of all levels, helping them build their confidence and skills in various subjects. I approach teaching with a methodical and engaging style, emphasizing curiosity and enjoyment of the subject matter.

Outside of academia, I am a passionate runner, having ran at club and county levels in the past and currently doing so for my University team.

I firmly believe that the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way is a sign of true understanding. Hence, I strive to break down difficult concepts into digestible parts, using examples and real-world applications to make them more relatable and understandable for my students.

I follow up all lessons with comprehensive class notes, questions and solutions, as well as an online class tracker to help students organise their learning.
