My name is Divya Pahwa. . I am passionate about helping students to achieve their academic goals. I hold a Master degree in mathematics and also did bachelor of Education in same subject from My home country India. I have more than 5 years of teaching experience in teaching field in my home country. I specialize in Mathematics.
My teaching skill focuses on creating a supportive learning environment , tailoring lessons to individual needs, breaking down complex topics to have a better understanding of Mathematics. Over the years, I have successfully helped students to improve their grades, confidence in math, inculcate problem-solving skills.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching in India in schools and colleges for almost 5 years to students age,11-24 years. I have been teaching them Basic math, advanced math to learners aged 10-16 years, graduates and post graduates too. When I moved to UK in 2022, I worked as a teaching assistant in few schools and Now , iIam currently teaching Math in one of the FE colleges of London to GCSE students From last 1 year. My responsibilities included developing customized lesson plans, assessing students' progress through regular assignments and tests, and offering individualized support to address specific challenges. Through my guidance , over 80% of students have achieved top scores in their exams .I am skilled in digital resources to enhance student engagement and understanding.

Tutoring Approach

I Tailor my lessons to each student's unique learning style, incorporating activities and discussions that help them grasp concepts more effectively. I encourage students ton ask questions, explore topics through hand on activities, projects and guided discussions, promoting a deeper understanding of topic. I use interactive tools like quizzes, games, and multimedia presentations to keep student engaged and make complex topics easier to understand. I create multiple learning path for students offering extra challenges for advanced learners whole providing additional support for those who need it. I provide constructive feedback to guide learners and celebrate their progress , creating a positive an motivating environment .I also take real life examples to have better understanding of topic that they are learning and also make sure to connect the topic with employability. I also set achievable learning goals for each session, ensuring students can track their progress and feel accomplished.
