I very much enjoy working with international students and adapting to their strengths and weaknesses.
I worked for many years with the British Council in English as a second language, as teacher trainer and materials writer. From 2010 to 2019 I taught international students at Kaplan International College London who were preparing for UK university entrance (undergraduate and post-graduate). This included IELTS coaching.
A communicative approach, engaging with the learner's intelligence, with remedial language work as appropriate and familiarisation with the format of tests s/he is preparing for. I am happy to work via Skype.
