I achieved a double first class law degree from Cambridge University in 2022, and am currently training to be a barrister. I have always been hard-working and passionate about learning, but I am also personable and down-to-earth. I enjoy teaching in a personalised way to help others to understand.
I have tutored primary school-aged children with a well-respected tutoring company, mentored and tutored GSCE students, and provided tutoring and advice sessions for students applying to study law at university.
I received A*s in French and English Literature, and an A in History at A-level, and 11 A* at GSCE (including a 9 in Maths and English Language, and an 8 in English Literature).
My approach follows on from the initiative of the students. For example, in the first session I would work with the student to ascertain the areas of work that they are particularly struggling with. I would then set up a proposed plan of action to work on those areas together. For primary or secondary-school children, this often focuses on their homework, or reflecting on feedback from their teachers. For university applicants, I have a variety of exercises and information sessions to ensure they have the best foundation for their applications.
