My primary skill is leveraging my diverse experiences to provide learners with practical insights into the subjects they are studying. Throughout my career, I have gained a wealth of experience across business and finance roles, which has equipped me with practical insights into real-world applications of business principles.
Currently, as a business owner I run a multi-site nursery group in North London, where I manage everything from recruitment to marketing, operations, and financial management. My role includes implementing automated systems to improve efficiency and supporting growth initiatives.
I also serve as a Board Member and Director of a Football Club, where I lead strategic planning, manage budgets, and oversee interesting areas such as player recruitment and development projects (including the design of a new stadium).
In the finance sector, I have held key positions, including as a Senior Sales professional in Private Equity, where I excelled in achieving revenue goals and building client relationships. My experience also includes working as an M&A Associate in Investment Banking, where I managed relationships with high-profile clients and contributed to multi-million-pound deals by advising on financial strategy and deal structuring.
This range of experience allows me to bring practical, real-life examples into my teaching, helping learners understand core business and financial concepts in a way that is relevant, engaging, and accessible.
Tutored a wide variety of students from different backgrounds, ages and learning difficulties
With a blend of hands-on business management experience and a deep understanding of financial markets, I am well-equipped to provide insightful, relevant, and practical tuition tailored to the needs of each learner. My approach stems around building and boosting students' self-belief & confidence. I focus on student's weaknesses and start building from there - once they tackle the things that they used to find challenging, they will have the self-belief to tackle any problem.
I often ask students to explain a topic back to me as if I had no idea about the subject. This method identifies areas of weaknesses and helps me understand how they are thinking about it and what they are focusing on.
I would be happy to open up my network of contacts to engaged and driven students.
