Hi, I’m Duran.

I’m originally from London but spent most of my life growing up in Canterbury, Kent. After completing my studies, I moved to Asia, where I taught English to students of all ages, from kindergarten to adults. I an energetic and outgoing tutor.

I love exploring new cultures and travelling with my family, and I can’t wait to learn more about your language goals.

Tutoring Experience

I’m passionate about teaching and have had the chance to work in Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and China. Over the years, I’ve become a patient, culturally aware teacher with a unique teaching style. My lessons are fun, enthusiastic, and engaging.

Good preparation and time management are key to great lessons, and I always bring these to class. With experience teaching so many students online, I’m ready to help you improve your English.

Tutoring Approach

In my classes, I like to use visual effects, pictures, audio, and video, depending on the course and type of lesson. Materials are custom-made for specialist courses; pronunciation and accent reduction, while IELTS, PET, and Cambridge courses follow a structured curriculum based on the course syllabus.
