I'm Dylan, I live in Northern Ireland and have been a primary school teacher for the past 6 years. I've taught in both England and Northern Ireland during this time, gaining a high level of experience and knowledge in teaching strategies and different curriculum. I have been a tutor alongside full-time teaching for the past 15 months, providing face to face and online support, for students aged 6 -14 and have enjoyed great success!

Tutoring Experience

Class teacher in all primary year groups; catering to the needs of all students in classes of between 24-32 pupils, including those with special educational needs.

Worked in special schools as part of my teaching degree.

Worked as a private tutor for 15 months, including preparing students for transfer tests.

Tutoring Approach

I have a friendly, individualised approach to tuition, informed by accurate ongoing assessment.
I create a positive rapport with all of my students, ensuring each lesson is both socially and academically engaging, just as I strive to do in my classroom teaching job, in which I am equipped with a high level of experience to incorporate into my tuition lessons.
Maintaining these positive relationships with students enables me to build a positive 'can do' attitude within them towards their subject/s and target areas so that both subject enjoyment alongside progress and confidence improves.
