Hi, my name is Dylan and I'm a second year undergraduate at King's College London studying a BSc in Mathematics. I attended a small school for my A-Levels and self-studied Further Maths. During my A-Levels I realised I liked teaching Maths, so naturally in the summer after my A-Levels and throughout the first year of my degree I began tutoring.

I have been tutoring Edexcel A-level Maths and Further Maths for over a year now, and I have 5+ tutees.

Tutoring Approach

As I have completed my A-levels recently, I'm extremely familiar with the A-level Maths/Further Maths syllabus and I understand what it is like to study at this level and what realistic expecations of preparation should look like. Due to this, I can greatly assist with a structure for practise outside of my sessions to yield the best results in your exams.

From my studies in my degree, I try to teach good habits in how we study and present answers. This increases the amount of marks to help you get the best grade you can, but these good habits also help hugely with understanding and how to break down all of the elements to a question.

I have tutored a wide range of abilities and used many different approaches when teaching. I am comfortable tutoring to reinforce familiar concepts, but I am also very comfortable teaching new content to get my students ahead in the course as much as possible.
