Hi, and welcome to my profile! My name is Dylan, I'm an aerospace engineer who has recently graduated from the University of Bristol. Tutoring is a passion of mine - I'm still young enough to have taken the same GCSE and A-level specifications that are currently in use, and experienced enough throughout my 4+ years of tutoring to have helped students from all sorts of backgrounds to achieve the grades they want.

Tutoring Experience

I tutored two students in-person, prior to the lockdown, both in GCSE maths. The majority of my experience has been online tutoring, which has allowed me to teach people from places such as Spain, Nigeria and South Korea. I have over a thousand hours of tutoring experience, with many students approaching me after their exams to say how happy they are to have achieved or exceeded their target grades.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is flexible, as it depends on the student, but generally I believe it is best to take a topic, spend some time explaining the theory behind that topic and then looking at various types of example questions related to the topic to enforce the student's learning. A summary at the end is an important part of these lessons, as it ensures that any outstanding queries can be answered.
