I am an experienced, passionate and conscientious teacher with eight years experience in the classroom as well as four years experience as an AQA English GCSE examiner. I adapt my practice to suit the needs of each of my tutees and deliver engaging, creative and challenging lessons that support excellent outcomes for all students.

Responsibilities: Leading on curriculum development and implementation for years 9-11 in a highly successful English department; facilitating targeted interventions; leading on KS4 CPD and super-curriculum opportunities.
Previous Experience:
Loxford School Trust (2018-2019): English Teacher, Lead Practitioner. Responsibilities: Leading on the design and implementation of the whole- school literacy policy; facilitating KS5 extra-curricular programme at Loxford School and The Warren; supporting the implementation of PSHE across all key stages.
The Cumberland School (2014-18): English Teacher, Second in Charge, English Department. Responsibilities: Leading on curriculum development and implementation for KS3; facilitating reading interventions; supporting and facilitating the whole-school TEEP programme.
