I’m an attentive, caring and highly organised individual, working hard to enhance the ability and confidence of current students.
I graduated from The University of Exeter with a first class honours Bsc in Psychology in 2018.
Now, I'm a student on the CPCAB Counselling Course and have just completed Level 2.
In the past, I mentored under the University of Exeter’s Career Mentor Scheme, where my duties included increasing the employability of the students and graduates through a range of areas including CV reviews, organisational skills and job interview techniques. I also shared guidance and support to students and graduates on their concerns about the future.
I’ve also completed helpline and face-to-face volunteering roles at various mental health charities, so I'm skilled in active listening, patience and mental health support.
The approach I take to all my support-related roles is one of attentiveness, care and understanding. I like to create an open environment of no-judgement where people feel comfortable enough to air their thoughts and ask questions. I aim to have each student leaving more confident in themselves and their abilities after every session.
