Hello, I’m Elena, a 4th-year medical student at Imperial College London and the Education Officer at Imperial.

Tutoring Experience

I have extensive experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students in biology, chemistry and physics, having worked with a diverse range of students over the past four years. I take great pride in tailoring my teaching approach to each student’s individual needs, helping them build confidence and achieve their academic goals whatever they may be.

What sets me apart is my passion for teaching and my commitment to creating a supportive, student-led learning environment. I believe that learning should be both effective and enjoyable. In our lessons we’ll focus on the areas that matter most to your child, whether it’s mastering tricky concepts, filling in knowledge gaps, or preparing for exams. I foster a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with the material, and I love making lessons more engaging with fun facts and real-world applications.
As a dedicated student myself, I am deeply passionate about science. In fact, I co-authored a research paper published in a refereed journal, titled “UK Electronic Healthcare Records for Research: A Scientometric Analysis of Respiratory, Cardiovascular, and COVID-19 Publications.” This experience has deepened my expertise in healthcare and medicine, and I can help your child develop an interest in these fields as well. I can also offer valuable guidance for students considering a career in Medicine, helping them prepare for the UCAT, BMAT, and medical school interviews.
Having received offers from all 4 medical schools to which I applied such as Imperial, UCL, KCL, and Bart’s, I understand the admissions process intimately and can provide tailored preparation to help your child stand out. I am excited to help my students develop a passion for science and look forward to helping your child get the highest grades.
