My name is Eliette and I have a class of violin students in London that I work with one to one. I have lots of experience teaching both children and adults privately, and in orchestral/ chamber music settings and I have always ensured that teaching plays a central role in my work as a violinist. I’ve had the enormous privilege of studying with some incredible tutors in my 18 years as a violinist and so, I really understand the importance of good violin teaching.
I perform across the country as a soloist, orchestral musician and chamber musician and if you’d like any more information about me please search for the Larisa Trio.
I would really love to hear from you if this is something that interests you. If you would like to get in touch please can you include where you are based, your aspirations as a violinist (graded exams, audition preparation, or just for fun!), and any musical background you may have and we can go from there!
I am a violinist originally from Brighton. I was honoured to study with Yossi Zivoni continued my studies as a scholarship holder at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Krzysztof Smietana. As a soloist I have been invited to play masterclasses with Boris Belkin, Mauricio Fuks, Kurt Nikkanen and Yair Kless. I perform with Manchester Camerata and have featured on their past two CD releases with Gabor Takacs-Nagy and Jean Efflam Bavouzet with the Chandos record label.
Chamber music is an incredibly important part of my musical life. I have played with the Larisa Trio for five years and joined the Arva Quartet a year ago. Recent chamber music performances include recitals as part of the Residart Fe#/k#stival in Italy and Orlando Festival in Holland with the Larisa Trio, and recitals in St Pancras Clock Tower a residency at Woldingham School with the Arva Quartet.
Music Outreach is incredibly important to me, and I teach students across the country both individually and as a chamber music tutor. I am honoured to receive scholarships from the RMNEF, Zetland Foundation and Westdene Trust, and to play on a wonderful Leoni violin from the Guildhall's collection.
I absolutely love teaching and following my students musical progression. I work closely with my students to build a strong technical facility that allows for freedom of musical expression.
