I am an advanced Politics student going onto study Politics at University with high proficiency in Edexcel Government and Politics course with the USA variation. I have been highly interested in politics for many years and excelled in lessons, while taking personal interest in politics by participating in my local party of choices branch.

Tutoring Experience

Predicted to achieve an A* in current A level politics and an A in my EPQ which was centred around populism in Hungary.

I have not tutored professionally before but have assisted others in my classes with shared essay marking and explaining concepts, while I have also marked and helped younger family friends with GCSE English, and younger years politics students in my college.

Tutoring Approach

I believe the best approach to learning politics must be routed in knowledge of current affairs and so will set weekly/fortnightly readings on certain news articles and historical political affairs related to the course. Likewise, essay practice cannot be underplayed and so as a tutor I will have a willingness to set and mark any and all essays produced by the students as well as carefully explaining structural and evaluative improvements which can be made and finding ways to work with students to fix these through my own experience.
