I am currently a Primary Teacher, working with Year 5 students. I have been teaching for 4+ years and have worked with a wide range of ages. My specialism is in Maths and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a teacher thus far but am now working for myself.
Having graduated almost 5 years ago, I have worked in a secondary school, teaching Maths from Year 7 - Year 11 and therefore KS3 and GCSE, with my Year 11 group all passing their GCSE. I then moved back into Primary School and taught a wide range of subjects. Working with a wide range of ages has allowed me to find gaps within primary to secondary education and attainment, as well as the enjoyment children find in schooling. Through this, I ensure my lessons are catered to the children whilst also creating a safe and proactive learning environment.
Every lesson I do is tailored to the student and is made as engaging as possible. This may be in the form of visual resources, educational games or teacher le
d sessions. Regardless of the student, I ensure the relationship in established along with high expectations at all times. My students enjoy my lessons, understand what is expected and walk away knowing or remembering things they did not prior.
