I am an English teacher at a prestigious London independent school, where I teach Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level. As a tutor, I have supported many students in preparing for public examinations or in developing their general subject skills. I also provide coaching for 11+ and 16+ entrance exams.

Tutoring Experience

Having been a teacher for 9 years, I bring considerable teaching experience and subject knowledge to my role as a tutor. I enjoy tutoring immensely as you can help a young person make significant progress and build their confidence as a result of one-to-one lessons.

Tutoring Approach

I focus on building trust by being approachable and supportive. As well as tailoring tasks and teaching strategies to my tutee's needs, I try to make my sessions varied and engaging. To encourage a young person's interest in English is always my ultimate aim!
