I am the Head of German at a prestigious London private school I have a particular interest in Post-War German literature and translation.
I am currently teaching and able to teach all age groups including beginners German, AQA GCSE, Cambridge IGCSE, and AQA A level German. I am also well-suited to support students with speaking for the Cambridge IGCSE working on fluidity and spontaneity rather than pre-learnt responses.
My approach is supportive and tailored to the needs of each individual tutee. I enjoy a holistic approach where we work on not only vocabulary and structure learning, but also on a secure understanding of grammar introduced in stages to ensure steady progress. I am also able to share the resources I have curated to support my students including translation booklets, grammar practice, and vocabulary booklets for GCSE. Where a tutee is already engaged with German learning either in a school or another institution, I work with the tutee to pinpoint areas where the most support is required following the advice of the teacher, allowing targeted improvement in specific areas.
