I am currently applying for a PhD in Social Policy at the University of Birmingham. I love being a teacher and a student as well. I love what I have been studying in the past four years, but I know it comes with many challenges, especially when it comes to writing assignments. Hence why I think I can help providing support with English academic writing.

Tutoring Experience

I have an extensive teaching background in Further Education and Higher Education, particularly teaching English for Speakers to Other Languages. I support my students in acquiring the essential linguistically skills that can support them furthering either their career or their access to higher and further education.

Tutoring Approach

I can support students reviewing and proofreading their assignments and make sure they read well from a language point of view. I can do that independently and provide feedback, or I can do that online engaging the student with the process. The latter is my favourite because it enables the student to acquire the necessary skills, and to ultimately become more independent! But I can be flexible according to student's preference.
