Since my son has received tutoring from Erin, he has seen a boost in his GCSE grades and confidence in English. She is very patient when working with her students and understanding when they are struggling.
I would definitely recommend her.

Update: My son has now finished his GCSE’s and received his results. Before Erin’s tutoring, he had received a grade 5 in English literature and a grade 4 in English language which he was one mark off failing. As a result of Erin’s tutoring he achieved a grade 9 in English Literature, getting 64/64 in his first paper, and a grade 8 in English Language in which he was one mark off from a 9 as well. Again, cannot recommend her enough.

Erin is the perfect tutor for my son. She is excellent at reviewing his work and explaining how he can improve in simple easily understandable instructions. He has been able to implement her advice in his school work.

Erin helped my son with KS3 English. She analysed the area in which he needed help and focussed on those. Based on the session homework was provided to be discussed and reviewed in the subsequent session. Regular feedback was provided on his progress as a teacher and also as an examiner.

It helps him with end-of-year and competitive exams. We will get more sessions from her for GCSE.

We highly recommend her as an English teacher.

My son's only had 3 sessions with Erin so far but we are really pleased. Erin is really professional but very approachable and put our son at ease immediately. Very encouraging and makes the sessions fun and engaging. She very quickly worked out his personality and how he works to get the most out of the sessions and homework. She provides excellent feedback at the end of each session. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
