I am a University Graduate in English Language and Literature and currently doing Masters at Ravensbourne University, London. Teaching is my passion as I have taught English from Aug 2016 to Jan 2024, first 3 years at a school at Primary level and then onwards, I have taught English Language at College level. As I am currently a student in London so I don't want to miss out on my teaching career, that passion to teach has driven me to this website as currently I am not able to teach full time due to my studies. So, to fulfill the urge to teach, I have chosen this online platform to teach.

Tutoring Experience

• From August 2019 to January 2024, I have taught English Language at Nusrat Jahan College, Rabwah, Pakistan. As English is a second language in Pakistan, my duty includes teaching the students, basics of English Language and mainly, working on their 4 skills i.e. Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. Alongside, creating engaging worksheets and effective lessons was the part of my job. If there is any student in the class who needs extra support in any of the skill, it was my duty to provide the student that support and time.
• From August 2016 to June 2019, I have taught English Language at Maryam Siddiqa Higher Secondary School, Rabwah, Pakistan. I have taught at Primary Level from class Prep to Grade 5. This includes teaching children the basics of English Language such as tenses, sentence structure and grammar from Grade 1 to 5, but initially in Class Prep (Kinder Garden Stage), students are taught the Alphabets and phonics, some of the basic English words. This was my job to ensure that every student in the class learn these English Language basics effectively and use the knowledge in real life.
• Throughout my teaching career, I have supported the students in English Speech and Debate Competitions, and in Spelling Bee Competitions as well.
• I have done private tutoring of both English and Urdu Languages at home as well and I have taught Arabic (Quran) online for 2 years from 2021 to 2023.
• Urdu is my Native language and I have experience of teaching Urdu to individual students. This includes working with the basics of Urdu and making them learn the basic skills of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, so that the students can speak Urdu and communicate effectively in public.

Tutoring Approach

I have worked with large groups ( upto 20 students) and in smaller groups as well (5-6 students). I have taught in-person and online as well. So, I have a far and wide experience of teaching and handling children according to their needs. I can manage the time and class effectively. My teaching approach includes using effective lectures and materials and up to date learning resources to equip my students. If there are any individual requirements of a student, I always support my students in every possible way, and make them comfortable and make their learning journey enjoyable and fruitful at the same time.
