I am an experienced educator and tutor with over 15 years of teaching across multiple universities and supporting hundreds of students in computer science, AI, data engineering, and related fields. I hold a PhD in Computer Science, an MSc, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), which provide a strong foundation in both deep subject expertise and effective, learner-focused teaching strategies.

Tutoring Experience

My academic and professional journey includes delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as one-to-one tutoring in areas such as academic writing, exam preparation, project mentoring, and lab-based learning. I’ve published over 45 peer-reviewed papers and delivered more than 200 talks globally. I’m also familiar with various exam boards and academic standards, ensuring students are well-prepared and aligned with curriculum expectations.

I offer structured, step-by-step guidance or exploratory, discussion-based learning depending on what works best for the learner. I emphasise how to learn—not just what to learn—helping students build confidence, critical thinking skills, and long-term academic independence. I specialise in breaking down complex technical concepts into clear, engaging lessons that connect theory to real-world application, creating impactful and personalised learning experiences.
