Hello, I’m Frank, I'm currently working as a process chemist for a pharmaceutical company. I graduated in July 2023 with a first class chemistry masters degree from Durham University. Aside from academic work, I am a keen sportsman, having played rugby and cricket since the age of 8, as well as a keen interest in rowing. I also have a keen interest in cooking and baking having worked part time as a baker since the age of 15.

Tutoring Experience

For the past year I have been working as a process chemist for a pharmaceutical company after graduating in 2023 with a first class chemistry masters degree from Durham University. Having achieved A*’s in both maths and chemistry GCSE and A-level I have extensive knowledge of the content and what it takes to do well. I have had plenty of tutoring experience in the past at school in which I have gone the extra mile to ensure that lessons are worthwhile, but also relaxed and fun at the same timeI believe that with hard work and guidance we can find the best way for you to understand and consequently ace the topic.

Tutoring Approach

The key to success is to find out the best way for you to learn and how you want to be taught in these sessions whether that be past paper questions, going over notes, or just talking about any issues within the subject. Another important feature is to ensure you feel that the sessions are beneficial so I would regularly ask to see how you are progressing and whether there is anything that I could do better. Overall, I aim to deliver lessons that provide an enjoyable way of developing your knowledge of the subject.
