I am 22 years old and currently reading Mathematics at Imperial College London. I teach both in person and online, I really enjoy getting to know my tutees and seeing them improve their skills each session. I studied at The Portsmouth Grammar School, achieving 4 A*s (Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics) at A-level as well as 9 A*s and an A at GCSE.
Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring for four years and have experience teaching a large range of different abilities from coaching B grades in GCSE resits to A*s in further maths A-level.
Tutoring Approach
When a tutee will soon be sitting an exam I have found it effective to work through past papers to identify weaknesses and build strategies to overcome them. This rigorous exam technique helped me achieve 100UMS in eight of my twelve A-level modules. I helped tutor at lunchtime sessions during school which allowed me to see a large number of students and appreciate the differences in how they think. This taught me to be flexible and accommodate my lessons to different learning styles.
