I am a private tutor from Wirral. I have been teaching since 2002 and tutoring since 2006. I have a fully-enhanced DBS check.

My first degree is in English, which is my main subject, but I have also successfully delivered private tuition in subjects such as Study Skills (up to degree level), History, RE, Army Entrance Exams, and Creative Writing, to learners ranging between primary school age and adult. I also have experience of working with learners with special educational needs (SEN) and behavioural problems.

Tutoring Experience

I began teaching in colleges in 2002 and I have also worked in secondary schools. My roles have included lecturing in subjects that include GCSE English, Basic Skills, and Creative Writing. I also have experience of working in learning support.
