I am a highly qualified and experienced maths teacher, with a maths degree. I have 19 years experience teaching both GCSE and A level maths. I have 13 years tutoring experience tutoring from Primary all the way up to A level.
I have a 2:1 Mathematics and Statistics degree. I currently teach at an Outstanding school in North London, where year upon year our department gets the best exam results for a non-selective school in the area . I’m a dedicated secondary school teacher with 19 years experience. I know my subject inside out and know what exam boards want. I also have access to a wealth of learning resources. I love teaching mathematics and have a passion for my subject. I am patient and encouraging, and will be able to support you in anyway I can.

I started teaching via Zoom during the pandemic, and found that students felt more comfortable and got through much more work. I have a laptop with a pen so I can write on a virtual whiteboard and teach effectively.

I do prefer to teach via Zoom, however I am willing to tutor face to face also.

Tutoring Approach

I’ll start by discussing your needs, i.e. do you know which topics you struggle with? or perhaps you find it difficult to decipher worded questions? Perhaps you enjoy maths, but really want that elusive Grade 9? Whatever your needs, I can cater to them. I will use a variety of different resources, to engage you with the subject, as well as using past paper questions for us to identify your strengths and to improve your mathematical ability.
