Hello, my name is George and I'm a 3rd year PhD student at the University of Warwick. My research group focuses on electrochemistry and I would consider my expertise to lie in material science. Although my teaching experience may not be extensive, I've managed to achieve a first-class master's based on my exam technique ability. This is valuable knowledge which i believe is something that can be taught.
I'm a friendly person, and someone who can relate ideas to easily. I understand the frustration of exams and I believe anyone can learn to know how to take them.
I have previously tutored science and maths at a GCSE level/ A level for half a year, as well as practical lab demonstration at university.
My tutoring approach focuses on exam technique, and how best to know what the examiners are looking for. I specialise in breaking down questions and focus on the most effective way to revise (it's not easy!). I'm also more than happy to go over anything taught in class that may not be so easy to understand.
