I have a first class honours degree in Physics and Mathematics and have worked in industry for over 28 years. I consider myself to be patient and understanding as well as approachable. I want my tutees to feel at ease to be able to tell me what the don't understand and feel we are working together to solve the problem.

I have been tutoring privately for 4 years.

Tutoring Approach

I expect my tutees to be committed to learning. During each lesson we will discuss the subject or problem together and then attempt some questions together. However, the only way to ensure full understanding is for the tutee to practice questions between lessons. I can either provide these or the tutee can do this independently. Most of all they need to know they have someone working with them wanting them to succeed.
