Ciao, my name is Giovanni, I'm 34 years oil and I come from Teramo, a beautiful city in the heart of Abruzzo, in central Italy.

I moved my first steps in the world of private tutoring in Italy, learning from an experienced English and Italian teacher, with over 30 years of experience in the role.

In 2014 I moved to London with the aim of improving my English language skills. What was supposed to be a few months experience, transformed into 10 years of living and working in the UK, gaining experience in tutoring Italian language to English speaking individuals, and English language to Italian speaking students.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring students in person and online for many years (1 on 1 and group lessons) and my teaching style is simple but effective: I request the student to study and work diligently, but learning has to be fun to.
During my private tutor career I collected multiple five stars reviews and helped many studens of all ages and different backgrounds to reach their desired Italian language skills goals.
Lately I collaborated with a +10 years experienced Italian tutor whom is currently teaching Italian as a foreign language at University "Politecnico" of Milan and "Ca' Foscari" of Venice.
My passion for teaching is a family heritage: five members of my family are teachers, three of them teach languages.

My best qualities are the passion I put into what I do, my reliability and the variety of learning resources I share for free with all students

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style is quite modern: I use grammar books and e-books, but also useful apps and websites, and I tailor my lessons depending on the request, personality and language level of each student.
My main qualities are: my reliability, flexibility and the passion I put into tutoring and into helping my students achieving their language learning goals.
I have many learning resources I share with my students and they can use them on their devices anytime and anywhere.
