I am a committed and enthusiastic teacher with wealth of knowledge and experience. I am passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their absolute best and believe that this can be done through engaging and motivating sessions. I have a true passion for my work and love to see the difference I can make in young people's lives.

Tutoring Experience

Having taught for 12 years across all ages within an Ofsted Outstanding school I have a wide range of experience in getting the best out of pupils and tailoring support to their needs.
I have a Masters in Education and am a Primary Maths Mastery Specialist. I have experience leading practice in Year 6 in which my pupils consistently made accelerated progress and achieved the best results in the borough. With my degrees in Early Years Education and Childhood Studies I have spent years leading EYFS and phonics in my school. I currently lead Maths across my own and 8 other schools and train teachers across these schools in best practice in Primary Maths.

Tutoring Approach

Being a leading teacher in an Ofsted Outstanding school and having taught across all age phases I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to support pupils with their unique learning needs. My focus is on getting to know my pupils so that lessons are tailored to them. I make learning accessible and enjoyable, often based around their interests, so that learning outside of school time is engaging. I have high expectations with proven results across all primary subjects, specifically focusing on SATs, Maths, Literacy and Phonics in the early years. I am also able to prepare pupils for 11+ entrance exams, focusing on things often not covered in the classroom like verbal and non-verbal reasoning. I have a Masters in Education and two degrees in Early Years and Childhood Development, I am also a qualified Maths Mastery Specialist leading practice in Maths across groups of schools across London with the Maths Hub.
