I am a fully qualified business teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching GCSE and A-level business in the classroom. I am also a senior examiner and assistant principal examiner for two A-level business awarding bodies. I currently work for tutor2u, the leading support service for A-level business.

Tutoring Experience

In addition to my extensive classroom experience, I am the subject lead for business studies with tutor2u. I deliver our incredibly popular A-Level Business Grade Booster revision workshops for AQA and Edexcel A-Level business and our online revision live streams. I have also authored and co-authored a range of study books and student resources for AQA and Edexcel A-Level Business.

Tutoring Approach

My approach begins with discussing students' needs and requirements and specific topic areas they would like to focus on. However, my experience has shown me that most students want advice, guidance, and support on how to structure different types of exam questions and how to develop critical assessment skills in knowledge, application, analysis, and evaluation. As an examiner and assistant principal examiner, I provide my students with real insight into maximising their marks across all the exam questions.
