Hi, I’m Hannah a 24-year-old teacher who recently moved to Alton. I have been teaching Year 2 for 4 years, and I’m passionate about helping young learners thrive. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading and staying active at the gym. I believe in making learning engaging and fun, and I’m dedicated to supporting students in reaching their full potential. I’m excited to bring my teaching experience and enthusiasm to help you achieve your learning goals!

Tutoring Experience

I have primarily taught Year 2, but I also have experience working with all year groups from Reception to Year 6. In addition to classroom teaching, I have successfully tutored children, providing targeted support to help them prepare for SATs.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach is resource-driven, using my visual aids and practical resources to help students grasp concepts before transitioning to more abstract methods. I offer support in reading, writing, and maths, with a particular focus on overcoming maths anxiety in young children. By building their confidence and providing tailored strategies, I aim to help students feel more comfortable and capable in their learning.
