ZOOM LESSONS ONLY. I am a second-year student at the University of Durham studying Combined Honours in Social Sciences in French and Business. I received A* grade in French at A-Level, A* grade in History and A in Economics and have experience teaching young people at secondary and college level. I am passionate about French linguistics and Francophonic culture and will provide learning methods in French reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Tutoring Experience

Taught one-off classes as a senior prefect to pupils at secondary level for French in which I gave teaching on French-speaking and reading.
Directed a Shakespeare play in 2018 where I taught oratory and reading skills to pupils aged 14-15 at secondary level.
Taught one-on-one swimming lessons to disabled young adults from 2018-2020 where I taught methods and skills to improve progress in the water.

Tutoring Approach

I stress the importance of engaging in discussion-style learning to improve confidence in speaking and listening in French.
I will also offer meticulous learning of French grammar to ensure fluency in French reading and writing.
I will carry out frequent past papers in the relevant syllabus to improve confidence in learning exam content so to perform confidently in exam-style conditions.
