Online Maths Tutor
I'm a fresh MEng graduate from the University of Bristol in Engineering Mathematics. I'm very passionate about teaching mathematics and love working with children. As a very recent graduate, I am very up to date with the education system, with my maths education from primary/secondary school being only a few years ago.
Tutoring Experience
No formal experience but there is experience in helping secondary school students with maths in an after-school club for a year. Also have experience in helping out fellow students as well as siblings/friends/friend's siblings during exam season.
Tutoring Approach
- Find out the curriculum for the exam board that the student is studying for and locate all the bullet points that the student needs to know.
- Split up the bullet points into discrete lessons and go through each one systematically each lesson.
- Use plenty of examples to show the student and try and highlight the underlying theory behind each idea so the student has an in-depth grasp of the concepts they are learning about.
- Set homework and mark set practice questions.
