I am originally from Canada and grew up speaking both French and English. I studied French and Religious Studies at the University of Waterloo. I also studied two years abroad in Nantes, France.
I now live in the U.K. with my husband and two young children.
I have over 15 years of classroom teaching experience. I have taught both in Canada and in the U.K. in secondary schools. I have helped many students with GCSE and A level exam prep. I have also been an examiner for the DELF exam.
My tutoring approach emphasises personalised learning and active engagement. I assess each student's unique needs and tailor my instruction accordingly, using a variety of teaching methods to keep learning interesting. I encourage students to actively participate, ask questions, and practice what they've learned. By fostering a supportive and positive learning environment, I aim to help students build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and achieve their academic goals.
