I am a qualified teacher with 20 years of teaching experience. I enjoy working with young people and adults and I am skilled in helping them unlock their potential. I hold a PGCE (qualified teacher status) and two Master’s Degrees (one in history and one in education). I have been a SENCO (special educational needs) for 9 years so am able to work with young people and adults with needs and disabilities. I am a member of the British Psychological society and I am a Registered Test User. I can screen for dyslexia and provide reports, with advice for teachers and schools. I have an up to date DBS.
I have been lucky enough to teach in London, Surrey, Devon, Somerset and in the Middle East. I have experience in both state schools and the private sector. I am available for tuition in the evening and weekends. I offer English tuition to GCSE level and History to postgraduate Level. I am experienced in preparing children for common entrance. I am also an experience SENCo so am able to work with students with a range of additional needs.
I believe that every student is unique and individual. I therefore personalise learning to the needs of every student.
