Hello! I'm Dr Henry, and I love science. I also love finding creative ways to inspire the same enthusiasm in others. That's why I became a science communicator, working at Cancer Research UK, advertising agencies, and start-up incubators. I've explained high-level research to audiences with a vast range of scientific literacy—from executive boards to retirees and schoolchildren—and adapted my approach to their needs.
Recently I've been travelling and volunteering at schools in Latin America. I'm starting a teacher training course at UCL, the world's best education institute, in September 2024.
I'm an experienced tutor. I've helped students develop the in-depth knowledge and confidence required to achieve their best at GCSE and A-level exams and university interviews. I also worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant and lab demonstrator for four years. I've learned to be flexible, patient, and friendly—relaxed students are best placed to stretch themselves and succeed.
Whether our tutorials are in-person or online, I like to make learning as interactive as possible. I believe teaching should be a dialogue—instead of having a fixed lesson plan, I'll adapt the content and pace to your needs.
