Howard's Feedback

From the very first lesson my son was fully engaged in lessons with Howard. I chose this tutor because he has a background in areas of history that I have absolutely no valuable knowledge in and also a subject matter that personally I feel the majority of the West knows nothing about save the skimmings off the top, mostly embellished by propaganda. I know that in terms of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict for example, whatever we have been told by the media is bound to be mostly rubbish, however I certainly don't have time to dig into the reality of the situation (which requires understanding the precedents) with my workload so Howard was the perfect choice for understanding the Middle East and the Gulf Wars. My son has mostly studied World Wars, English and French History. What I didn't envisage was how much my son would adore these lessons, hoover up the information and look forward to the next lessons so much, perfecting his homework and reading in advance. I know I am a lucky Mum indeed to have been able to source such a gem of a teacher! Thank you Howard! You have broadened Caden's mind in ways that I think are really going to shape his fufure.

Caden - Howard describes the lessons I am learning in a way that is very interesting, he provides me with options in areas I am not good at in History such as the gulf wars which I am now proficient at and it is a good opportunity for me. Very friendly and easy to work with. My daughter is very happy to have Howard as her tutor. He has seen her through year 12 and she is looking forward for the next year with him.

Howard is an excellent tutor. He is very charismatic, resulting in our son being very engaged during the lesson. During his time with Howard, our son’s grades have started to significantly improve. He regularly talks about his politics tutorial with Howard, which tends to last longer than the advertised time. Outside lessons, Howard always responds quickly to any queries and goes over and beyond to assist. More importantly he really cares, this comes across in the way he teaches. If you want the best then you have to pay for it. He is well worth the money! Thank you Howard.

Howard is a fantastic tutor, and I would highly recommend him to anyone serious about improving their writing ability and thinking at a higher level. As well as being a great teacher, he is extremely personable and funny, which makes the time go too quickly.

Howard is an exceptional tutor. He took time to understand what our son really required and to provide a level of tutoring and support that exceeded our expectations. We consider he is responsible for turning around our son's A level performance, giving him the knowledge and examination skills and improving his confidence and self belief.

Howard has been extremely helpful with providing me with core knowledge for my Politics A-Level exam in July. His lessons are really engaging and insightful; his feedback is always really thorough and he is ready to help you tackle any topic or question. It helps that he's got a great sense of humour too, which definitely keeps you on your toes. His approach has been flexible, and he has adapted to my needs. Whenever I need help throughout the week or have a question, he has always made room for me and his response time is superb. Highly recommend.

Howard has been a fabulous tutor. He has drastically helped me improve in politics. Before Howard, I was struggling with the content but, after having him teach me the course I am able to answer exam questions extremely well. I have him twice a week and the lessons are always extremely well prepared. I can always finish the lesson with a full page of notes. When it comes to Government and Politics, Howard has been extraordinary at being able to help me see the 'big picture'. Especially when it comes to the different ideologies. We found Mr excellent and extremely charismatic teacher. That is very important quality for teacher the ability to attract us to the language. We have Hebrew lessons with Mr . We have started from the beginning, and 3 - 4 weeks after can speak very simple but the same time very difficult for our minds words and phrases.

Howard is an extremely good teacher.
My daughter is very happy to study with him, which is a miracle in itself.
He's a very good teacher - helping her towards her GCSEs and her entrance exam into a new school for sixth form. We have booked two weeks of lessons and it's all going swimmingly.

Howard has an impressive past as an academic but that is not why he is an inspirational tutor. He is an inspirational tutor because of the attitude he has towards his tutees and his passion for any topic where a debate can be had or an opinion expressed. Howard has hugely improved my confidence in essay based subjects but also in my abilities generally and the cherry on the cake is my grades have improved and my teachers have noticed a difference. I thoroughly look forward to my weekly sessions with Howard because I know he cares and because I know it will be interesting and filled with his rye sense of humour and unique personality.Howard is always willing to , and has, put in the extra hours for me and I am very grateful.

In just a matter of weeks, Howard has been able to turn my daughter from disillusioned to interested and engaged. Howard just has a great style of teaching - he clearly knows his subject backwards but makes it accessible by striking the balance between informative, fun and engaging. I would recommend Howard to anyone.

I had a few sessions with Howard, and planning to have further ones, and I find him very patient, punctuate and empathetic. His friendly and humour approach makes you feel relax and more open to absorb or process the materials. I tried before him other tutors in politics with cheaper fares but honestly with him you get what you pay for as he knows his stuff well and he is able to transmit the information to his tutee level - in other words, he is able to explain such complex issues in simple way. Despite the fact that I had been struggling to be punctate on time with him, he has been very understanding, encouraging and welcoming. I would strongly recommend him to anyone who struggles with some aspects of learning or needs boost in confidence. He is the PERFECT tutor!

Howard has now had several tutoring sessions with my son and the initial impression is excellent.
Gabriel has enjoyed the interaction and gained in confidence in the two subjects, A' level history and politics.

The lessons with Howard have been great. He is passionate about teaching, inspiring, kind and a great teacher. His private lessons helps me to improve quickly as well as to feel much more confident with my English.
