We booked Huma to provide extra tuition for our daughter back in January 2024. Since then Huma has provided invaluable support and help. She is very approachable and able to adapt the lessons exactly to the required areas. We would have no hesitation in recommending Huma to support students to achieve higher grades.

Huma has been excellent. My daughter was struggling with maths at school at the start of Year 10, but weekly term-time sessions with Huma over the past 13 months have totally turned things around. Huma has been teaching my homeschooling daughter GCSE AQA Physics(Higher) for the last 6 months. Huma is incredibly professional, efficient and flexible with her teaching style and has, over this relatively short period of time, helped to increase both my daughter's confidence and ability in Physics enormously. My daughter began believing that she could not understand Physics but now she is achieving high grades in her assessments. Huma is a calm, flexible and intuitive teacher and spots moments where a different method of teaching or approach may be required for her student. She is also very lovely to work with! I am happy to highly recommend Huma and my daughter feels incredibly fortunate to have found such a great Physics tutor. Thank you Huma!

Huma has been teaching my daughter for nearly a year and she has made great progress in both maths and English with Huma’s support. Huma is organised and plans well and is always happy to provide and share extra materials to support additional learning outside the lesson.

Huma is a great teacher… My kids are doing home schooling for 3 years now. Currently year 3 and 4. Huma is teaching them English and Mathematics and my kids progress is excellent, they are more confident and feeling very comfortable and relaxing with the teacher. Huma tutored my daughter (year7) and in just a handful of lessons I noticed in my child an increased confidence and ability to tackle exercises that she had not understood prior to her tutoring. Her end of year test results were greatly improved as well. Huma has a gentle but business like approach that works well and a clear manner in explaining things.

I highly recommend Huma as a tutor, her kind and gentle approach with our daughter has really paid off. Huma has been there to fill the gaps we had during homeschool, but mainly helping our daughter to focus and pass her 9+ exam for Surbiton, where she has been offered a place.
The short amount of time we have been using Huma has shown an enormous change in our daughters attention and pride when she learns new techniques. We are so happy with Huma's kind manor and diligence, she is always able to find a different learning method if something isn't working. Tutoring it isn't one size fits all, so getting someone to see each child as an individual who needs attention in different aspects of their learning is paramount to getting the best from the child, which Huma has done with our daughter, we are so delighted to have found her.

Huma has been great with our son. She is very organised, patient, focused and gives him clear guidelines on the work that needs to be done for the next session. She has adapted the lessons to his needs, focusing on the areas that he needs to improve. Overall we've been very happy with Huma!

Huma is always on time and has a friendly manner with our children (8 and 10 years old). They seem to be doing well in the Maths and English that she does with them and hopefully this will translate into their school development. She also sets homework for them and brings this with her each week for them to complete.

Huma started tutoring my 8 year old daughter in September last year and we are really happy with how it's all going; Huma has a lovely manner, she is super organised, makes the most of the time and sets homework which is manageable and realistic and well structured. in the current situation we are now doing online tutor sessions which have worked brilliantly so far (mum in St Margarets)

Huma was tutoring my daughter towards her 11+ exams taken in September 2019. Due to bad experience with a previous tutor, I had to find a tutor at the last moment. From the short time we had Huma, we found her very reliable, kind, and my daughter enjoyed every lesson she had with her. Huma always came prepared with lots of material. I can say with great confidence that Huma is a great tutor with a wealth of knowledge. In a short amount of time my daughter did well in her 11+ exams.

While we do not have the results yet, Huma provided excellent support to my son for his preparation of re-sitting the English GCSE to get a higher mark allowing him to apply for medical school. She analysed his key areas for most significant improvement, concentrated on these and provided him with sample tests to practice. She is professional, dedicated, knowledgable, and supportive. One watch out: make sure you confirm sessions 24 hrs in advance.

I never expected that with Huma' s help my son's English will be progressing so fast. She has been coming to our house once a week for two months now to help with creative writing and English for 11+ exams, as English is not our native tongue.

My 10 year old was not keen at all to have a tutor (tears and even mini hunger strike was staged) but Huma' s approach was very friendly, peer to peer level, and without my rebel son noticing, soon the tasks that he originally considered too complicated, were simple enough.
He has started taking great pride in his school essays, drafting plots full of adventure and surprises. He recently announced that he likes English, because he is good at that! Teacher at school had complimented him on his improved writing skills.

I find Huma extremely helpful with all her hints on mock exams, websites for test papers, printouts she brings in for both Math and English 11+ exams.

We are extremely lucky to have Huma as our tutor.

Huma has had a very positive impact on my Y5 son. His Maths and English scores have improved significantly since she started tutoring him. Huma has recently started tutoring my son in Economics. Her lessons are structured and she explains concepts clearly and with patience. Huma is a very calm, patient maths tutor, who is excellent with children. I would highly recommend her.

Huma has built a great rapport with my son who was falling behind in maths and lost his confidence and was becoming negative and demoralised. She is calm kind and encouraging. She goes out of her way to source the right materials to suit him, that will test him just enough without overwhelming him and is aligned with what he is doing in class so feels relevant and useful to him. She also prints resources to leave him with manageble homework to do in the week. She is dedicated, trustworthy hard working and very bright! A lovely person to have around.

This term Huma has helped my daughter in year 8 with both maths and science and she has already gained in confidence. We are definitely going to continue with tuition in September. Huma is friendly and provides the students with plenty of practice material.
