Through teaching I ensure students are confident and help exceed their potential.
I have graduated from Queen Mary University of London where I have achieved a 2:1 classification in Biochemistry.
I have studied the new style of exam questions for A level biology and chemistry as well as GCSE maths and sciences.
I have two years experience in teaching where I tutored A level and GCSE students in a tuition centre.
I try to make my lessons enjoyable as well as challenging and I set homework after every lesson. If students struggle with this , the next lesson we will go through the questions together ensuring they are comfortable with their tasks and I will also help students with their own school work that they are struggling on independently. I like teaching my students new techniques to combat their weaknesses and also show them ways to develop their existing methods.
I am currently teaching students aged 10-16 Maths, Biology and Chemistry at a tuition centre. I have been teaching here since 2015 and with the experience I have gained I am certain I can help develop and improve students' skills and learning methods enabling them to achieve the highest grades possible. During secondary school, I tutored a few GCSE and A-level students privately at their homes teaching them in all subjects. I also mentored AS level students in Maths at my college during my second year in A-levels where I helped them with any topics and exam questions they were finding difficult.
I care a lot about my students and I believe in taking a friendly and very supportive approach as I understand the progressions from KS3 to GSCEs to A-levels can be really hard to handle for many students. I really like to motivate my students and ensure they receive all the help and attention they need to be successful in their academia.
