Hi there! Nice to meet you. I'm Ibrahim Mohammed, and I have always loved tutoring. I am a first-year university student studying computer science. I am patient and understanding when teaching students and committed to helping students reach their highest potential. My goal is to instill confidence in my students and help them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

For A-Levels, I did Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, and I received 9 GCSE grades in several subjects such as Maths, Business, Combined Science, Spanish, Citizenship, History, English Language and English Literature. As a student, I gained knowledge about different subjects and how to teach, and I intend to apply this to become a great tutor.

Tutoring Experience

I have a year of tutoring experience where I mainly did online tutoring using my own resources, and I have done over 100 lessons from different websites. For online tutoring, I worked for a company for over 3 months and did around 50 lessons with students, utilising specialised software in the process. I also received in-person tutor training from a centre, where I learnt different teaching techniques and how to handle difficult students.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is centered on patience, empathy, and personalized learning. I am dedicated to fostering a positive and comfortable learning environment, where students can ask questions and explore topics at their own pace. I adapt my teaching style to suit individual needs, and I use specialist software to work collaboratively with my students. I also set homework regularly, and I make sure to correct it, go through it, and understand the faults in every lesson. My passion for helping others and my expert knowledge of specifications and curriculum, make me an ideal tutor.
