I am a Japanese Teacher at a British boarding school and a specialized college catering to individuals with special educational needs. I assist students in learning Japanese for various purposes including general conversation, GCSE, A-Level, JLPT, preparation for speech contests, and University degree studies. Each year, I conduct GCSE Japanese Speaking exams at various private exam centers. I have a Bachelor of Education from Japan, a Master of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology from Australia and did a Doctoral study at the Institute of Education, UCL in the UK (incomplete).
With 20 years of language teaching experience, I have dedicated 12 years specifically to teaching Japanese. My students range from adults to university, secondary, and primary school students, including those who are homeschooled or have special needs.
I am passionate about unlocking each student's language learning potential. My teaching style encourages practical language use and fosters confidence. I eagerly support enthusiastic learners!
