I'm Imogen, nice to meet you! I studied at the University of York - completing my biomedical science degree in 2022 and my masters in public health in 2023. I have since lived in York tutoring both online and in person, for maths and sciences.

My long term goal is to study medicine (graduate course) however this is a long process and I decided to take up tutoring to continue the subjects I enjoy. My interest in these subjects is more than just academic – I genuinely love understanding the world around us. I've always found joy in sharing this passion and seeing that "aha" moment when a concept clicks.

Tutoring Experience

I tutor a mixture of online and in-person (either in students homes or local libraries).
My main subjects are GCSE maths and sciences, A-level biology, and A-level chemistry - though I also tutor for the UCAT medical entrance exam for which I scored a 3330 B1 (top 1%) in 2023. A lot of my students have been prospective medical applicants themselves and I can help shed some light on the application process for them!
