My name is India and I am a 19-year old student who has just finished my first year studying Law at Cambridge University. I completed my A-Levels in 2023 in Economics, Geography, Maths and History, and my GCSEs in 2021 in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Language, English Literature, Geography, History, Spanish and Classical Civilisation. I am able to tutor Economics and Geography, and Maths at GCSE and A-Level (including primary and secondary levels and 11+ tutoring). I am a bubbly, young person who is willing to hone in on essential elements of the courses which I will have expert knowledge on having only just completed the courses myself. Due to having such recent experience of the A-Level and GCSE courses, I can focus on important recent developments such as essay structure and examiners' criteria that is essential to securing high grades.

Tutoring Experience

I have already tutored students at GCSE this summer, and also for AS Maths and Economics, who are now predicted to achieve high grades.
I have experience tutoring children of primary school age as I volunteered in this area during Sixth Form.

Tutoring Approach

Due to my recent personal knowledge of the courses, I focus very much on getting the student to understand how to collect marks in an exam paper, so that they can clear grade boundaries and not to over-stress on overly difficult questions. Once the student has understood the knowledge and exam technique required for a grade 7 (or an A), I will then target specific techniques and knowledge so they can then elevate their grade to the highest level. I understand the examiners' criteria that is required for each grade.
