I am a fourth year Modern Languages undergraduate at the University of St Andrews, currently on track to graduate with First Class Honours. I’m passionate about how languages shape our world and love to share this passion with my students. I studied English Literature, French and German at Westminster School, where I graduated with three A*s.
Most recently I had the opportunity to work as an English Language teacher at an international school in southern France, where I taught a range of children between ages 6 to 15. I worked with the children on both speaking and writing skills, helping them to develop confidence in their level of language whilst also having fun. It was really rewarding to see the children gain curiosity in their studies as well as the improvement in their language skills over the course of the year.
I bring a wide range of skills to my work with students who want to become more proficient in German, French or English. I have a calm, positive approach to learning and believe that consistency is the key to yielding positive results. I love helping my students develop independent study techniques that will form the foundations of their future studies too.
