I am an approachable and understanding person who can explain difficult topics within science to people of all abilities. I am reliable, orgainised and punctual.

Tutoring Experience

I am currently a science teacher, teaching all three sciences up to GCSE level. I have an excellent understanding of what is required from pupils for all exam boards. I also have access to many teaching resources to aid understanding. I regularly hold revision classes at school which are well attended by pupils, including those that I do not teach.

Tutoring Approach

I appreciate that many pupils find science very demanding and as a result of this I am very patient. I am aware of areas that pupils find difficult and can provide various strategies to make them more understandable. I have a lot of computer based animations and demonstrations that make science more visual that I would be happy to bring with me to tutoring sessions.
