Hi! I'm Jamie, a 3rd Year undergraduate at the University of Oxford studying Classics. I achieved straight 9s at GCSEs and 4 A*s at A-Levels (Maths, Latin, Further Maths, Ancient Greek). Outside of academics (and tutoring!), I love playing sports such as football and squash, and also am an avid cinema-goer.
I've tutored for over 5 years with a range of students of all abilities and age groups. I used to volunteer teaching Latin and Maths in local secondary schools, but more recently have been tutoring online at GCSE and A-Level standards.
I take a personal and engaging approach to tutoring. I make sure to always tailor every lesson to the needs of the specific student, trying to make the learning as interesting as possible since you always learn more when you are enjoying the subject! I use a range of resources such as textbooks, videos and my own examples to help students learn. I can both teach from a curriculum or make a dedicated plan for the student.
