Hi, I'm James, a 26-year-old History and IR graduate of King's College London. I also hold a Masters of Law in International Business Law. I achieved 10 A*s at GCSE and 4 As at A-Level in History, English Literature, Politics, and Biology. I understand how challenging it can be to balance studies with other interests, as I did with my love for sports and music. My approach is to make lessons clear, focused, and enjoyable, helping you stay engaged and confident in your progress. I’m here to support you in reaching your academic goals effectively!
I have tutored GCSE and A Level students as a part time job alongside my full time corporate work for the past 3 years.
My approach to teaching is always personal, individually tailored and empathetic.
No two people learn the exact same way and I always endeavour to structure my lessons to suit my students and give them the most valuable learning experience possible.
My services are best suited for students at GCSE and ALevel stages of their study. I am to blend fun with pragmatism, ensuring that achieving the eaxct grade you are aspiring to achieve is always kept front and centre.
For this reason, I like to utilise past papers, and really focus on exam technique, as this is what things boil down to on results day.
A typical lesson will be from 45 minutes to 1 hour, and I am not limited to meeting with a particular student just once a week, I endeavour to be flexible in meeting their needs.
