I am passionate about teaching and I believe that education can lead to huge transformations in the world. I like playing sports, hicking, travelling, reading and spending time with friends.

Tutoring Experience

I was an English as a foreign language teacher in Brazil, my country, for more than 10 years. I came to England in 2021 to do my Masters in Education at the University of York. I have taught very young children, teenagers and adults but I have been focusing on primary school - KS1 and KS2. Now I work as a KS2 Teaching Assistant at a primary school in York.

Tutoring Approach

Children learn better through playing and interacting with one another. Using movement and some joyful experiences children can find learning more interesting. My PE degree is a good match for my English teaching as it gives us plenty of opportunities to explore the language in practical and useful ways.
