I have a first class Mathematics degree from a red brick university. I have been a qualified Mathematics teacher for 13 years. I am currently a head of department in one of the nations top performing schools. I have tutored for 7 years. Prefer to tutor at home, possible surcharge if required to travel.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught GCSE Mathematics for all of my career, and have taught Alevel Maths and Alevel Further Maths for the last 11 years. I have worked extensively with different boards and have studied the curriculum in detail.

Tutoring Approach

I like to assess the students current knowledge and then use the tutoring time to support with the weaker topics. Once the basic concepts are understood it is easier to support students in pushing themselves further and understanding more difficult topics.
